We stayed for the first time on the Hawes site between 17th and 22nd March. We arrived just in time to meet the "beast from the east" which caused us a few problems with our water system. However, despite that we had a superb time walking in the surrounding hills, and exploring the charming village of Hawes. It is a magical place, and looked beautiful with the snow on the ground. Definitely worth another visit . . . . . but preferably in better weather. By the way - the site staff were excellent, and managed to keep everything running despite the intense cold.
