We stayed here for 3 nights immediately after the new toilet block was opened. The location and the site itself are really good and it has the best dog walking area I've seen on any CMC site. No complaints about the wardens. Amenities (apart from the below) are good ... ... apart from ... the new toilet block seems like a make-do-and mend exercise. Claustrophobic inside and with very basic fittings. Most important of all, there is only the one toilet block on this quite large site. It's quite a hike to it if you're in an outlying pitch (in particular, the full service pitches are miles away from it - perhaps someone thinks people on full service pitches don't need to use the toilet ?) One other minor issue - the newly created hard standing pitches have had 10-12 cm of hardcore dumped across them by the contractor, but not properly rollered in. The result is that you need very long hard ground pegs in order to penetrate down to solid ground that will hold your awning. Overall, slightly disappointed, it could have been much better.
