Our favourite!

We have just returned from another enjoyable week at Hawes. Although it was very busy over the bank holiday weekend, the hard working wardens kept everything running like clockwork, and the site and facilities were kept clean and tidy as usual. Our only gripe was the number of members who seemed unable to drive at 5mph around the site, even though several children were about, some of whose parents or carers didn't seem to care where the kids were as long as they were out of their way. Could the club have speed cameras around the sites, and enforce a " 3 strikes and your out "policy? Or even some warning signs indicating that speed cameras are in operation? The wardens should ideally remind everyone as they check in about the speed limit, and when they see anyone doing more than 5mph, take the registration number and the club send them a warning letter.

Taffsdad raises an important point about speed and a possible solution.

I would question whether these comments should be in a review of this site itself (or any site for that matter). That there were inconsiderate people here at this time, tells me nothing about the site itself, or it's facilities or nearby environment

People who break the 5 mph limit don't only visit here, they travel  to other sites.

Perhaps a strongly worded email to the club would be more appropriate?
