Good for families

Its a peacefull site ( when the building works complete)

First of all. lovely wardens who are doing the best to run the site with no facilities . 9 Cant understand why updates wernt completed in winter ??When I booked didn't know about the work going on but its such a lovely location and close to the town that you just get on with it . Cant understand though how the caravan club can justify £23 a night with no facilities . We liked the peace in the evening ( when building had finished .) Just one negative point is that sometimes the wardens need to knock off a bit earlier because on a bank holiday Friday at 5.45 to 6.15 is a bit late to be trimming hedges and the last thing campers want to hear having arrived on site is a noisy hedge trimmer . Hawes is a short 10 minute walk away with plentiful supply of shops pubs and the creamery easy to walk to. ( Creamery shop on main street . Walk 400 meters on left of main street and you will see a path just behind the fish and chip shop then its 10 minutes up hill across a field ) One negative is this site has a number of pitches where pitches are back to back so you can end up very close to the row behind . Some pitches have wonderful views and its a very nice site when its fully open
