Very efficient check in, by a cheerful warden. Yes he had a clipboard but he was writing on the paper clipped to it...so seems like a good idea to me. Site was immaculate, although we did not use the on site facilities so can't comment on them. Walks from the site are stunning, from gentle ones across the lower Dale's to higher, more challenging ones. Great little town, Hawes, very friendly and whilst it was busy, especially at the weekends, most people followed the guidelines so it felt safe. Great friendly bunch of members on site too.
