We knew in advance that there would be no toilet block therefore we had to use our own facilities and use the chemical disposal point every day. As there was also no motorhome disposal point and we could not download our grey water tanks into containers, we had to empty these at our next site. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I could cycle into Hawes to visit the shops and the excellent fish and chip shop. I did not find cycle racks in Hawes therefore I chained it up with the motorcyles in the car park.which would not have stopped someone putting the whole thing in a car boot so I did not stay long.
