Beautiful site but service pitches dissapoint

Whilst this is a nice site in a fantastic location, sadly all is not perfect. We booked a serviced pitch which is located in a small area behind the reception. This in its self is not a problem however, it is the furthest away from the toilet block and the area looks a bit neglected with the grass covered in weeds and nettles. You pay a premium for these pitches so I expect a bit more to be honest. Otherwise this is a great site for accessing the Dales and Hawes village is only a short walk away with plenty of choice for cafes and pubs. Also fair to say that Hawes is the most dog friendly village we have ever visited in the UK.

Thanks for the review , only note I would like to add is the fact weeds are wild flowers and nettles are really important for the wildlife, which The dales is sadly lacking in , but trying to put right ...wild and natural is what the countryside should be so we can all enjoy the rich fauna and flora..birds and butterflies ..
