We arrived early, 12.45 to find we were 10th in the queue! The warden however was checking folks in and sending them off to find a pitch with a polite request to don a mask and visit the shop to pay, once settled in. Much better than keeping us waiting until 1pm and as such we only waited about 10 mins. The welcome was very friendly with helpful information about the COVID measures and pitch availability. The site is clean and tidy and facilities very clean. We much prefer the system in place here, if there has to be one, preferable to other systems we’ve experienced. The site is well located for Hawes and other places in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, plenty of local walking routes and places to eat. We will without doubt return.
