Recently stayed at this site and as we're fairly new to this Motorhoming lark and trying new sites are always a wee bit apprehensive on arriving. We were soon relaxed and comfortable in stunning surroundings having been met by friendly, helpful staff and other site members/visitors. There is everything you need here for all ages and all is of a high standard of cleanliness and finish. The camp looks wonderful with flowers everywhere and the surrounding area is mountains and trees, whisky and castles galore. We have four dogs who settled in very quickly and thoroughly enjoyed sniffing around the many, very long walks very close to the site. Easy to walk into the town centre with many shops, hotels and cafes, many of which allow dogs, bliss. We could have spent much longer that the weekend but will be back.
A gem not to be missed
It was lovely to return to this beautiful site in June.
If you could give the views 10 stars you would especially if you were on the higher pitches like us.
The site is clean & tidy and has friendly staff very willing to help out when needed.
They even have bird feed boxes around which are topped up regularly and it is a delight to watch the different species of birds feeding. There are ample walks from the site as easy or as adventurous as you want with plenty for walking dogs as well. It is so near to good facilities in Grantown itself. As far as price is concerned the same old saying goes:- you get what you pay for and this is well worth the extra.
We will be returning.

grantown the best of the best
Stayed here for 5 nights and it was an excellent site
The wardens are excellent and the toilet blocks were outstandingly good, the bexpst we have seen on any site.
Lots to do in the area with plenty of walks from the site or you can venture out locally
We recommend the local eateries elephants in the pantry on the high street who make greatsoups, cakes and teas. We also tried the local pub the craig bar who serve only pie and chips its very popular and was really good too.
the site is so goodweve now bookeda return trip in the autumn.
Good but hidden extras
The site has very good facilities and the toilet block if clean and warm. When we set up on pitch there was the EHU block with a TV connection on it. I consulted the handbook and read it had good tv reception and also TV booster. WRONG I couldn't get TV reception on my aerial or the 'booster' connection on the EHU block. I went reception and was informed it wasn't a TV booster but a satellite connection and they could provide freesat boxes and connections for £2 PER NIGHT , so our bill is now £57 for two nights including the freesat, personally I think this is a rip off and will not be returning.

Highland delights
This is an absolutely immaculate caravan site ! very well manicured surroundings with large hard standings (ours had a TV point on the electric hook up too) Toilet & shower facilities had piped music and were spotlessly clean. A very nice young couple run the place an were very helpful. The site is a 10 minute stroll into the lovely town of Grantown on Spey (which so much reminded me of Moreton in Marsh in the Cotswolds) with its antique shops plenty of pubs restaurants and shops, there's a Co-op supermarket as you reach the main street and a very good Indian restaurant dead opposite in the square. I've heard people saying its an expensive site but £23 per night ! you get what you pay for and this ones worth every penny !
Nice Site But Over Priced
My wife and I have stayed twice at this site and even as a Caravan Club member I feel this site is overpriced. Everything is very clean and tidy, in and a quiet location with some lovely walks but you have to walk the half mile on a partly lit road to town to get food or a drink in the evening, unless you want to use the mobile fish and chip van which visits. This is a nice site but having stayed at quite a few sites in this part of the country we found this, one of, if not the most expensive with few extra facilities.

Autumn Break
Lovely site so well kept a credit to the staff. Only two things which could be better would be lighting around touring area and ladies shower room (the top one) was cold could do with more heating for the winter.

Ideal to explore
We were touring Scotland and used this site to explore the whisky trail. A well presented site with helpful friendly wardens. Good level pitches. You have to walk dogs off the site but this is no problem as there are plenty of walks behind the site to enjoy.
Great site in beutiful area
Spent a couple of nights here. Arrived having not booked, but got a pitch no bother. Staff at reception were very helpful and you were escorted to your pitch. facilities were excellent and the walks at top of site for the dogs are really good and very close.
Only a half mile walk into the village, everything you need is there. Also, a load of other walks accessible from the village itself.
This site is certainly worth a return visit.
Relax in heaven
We arrived to a very warm welcome from the friendly wardens. Had a great 9 night stay. Grounds maintenance and cleanliness of this site are the best we have found on the network. Grantown a nice wee place with Aviemore and Inverness not too far.Wifi on this site was excellent i could even watch youtube without interruption. Will be back...
