Great site shame about shower block

This is a wonderful site and in a wonderful location opposite the dunes over which you can walk to the beach. Or you can drive to a NT car park only a 1mile drive away which is really convenient and easy. The beaches are just fabulous! The wardens were amazing and very helpful. They clearly work very hard keeping the shower block clean, it is a shame that the club have not updated this block yet as it needs it. 6 showers are just not enough for a site this size. We frequently had to queue and the block is definitely showing signs of wear and tear. Despite this,we had a wonderful holiday and if they club were to update the facilities we would not hesitate to return.

It’s a fair size site, JV, and gets packed at this time of year.

120 pitches so about right with showers even when "busy", but then the showers are normally only busy for about an hour a day hence my comment and smileycool

So if you assume it’s a 50/50 gender split, that’s 1 shower for every 10 people. No wonder there was a queue!

The answer is to avoid the busy times.

We’ve just returned from this great site ourselves and have to agree they are in need of modernisation,I spoke to the warden about it and he informed me that the existing block is being demolished and a brand new block is to be completed by the beginning of the 2020 season.
