Just returned from a weeks stay and I must say what a fantastic site. The site was spotlessly clean, very well maintained and very quiet – although mostly full, the shower block is more than adequate and very clean at all times. This is a great site for a base as there are many beautiful places to visit and plenty of walks, the seals at Godrevy point are a must, we were very lucky and saw a mum and 3 pups!! whilst there carry on walking round to Hells Mouth it was about an hours walk with stunning cliff views. We choose this site due to its location as we have dogs and wanted to be able to walk to the beach in the evening (after an afternoon pimms!!), it was perfect, a 15 minute walk across the sand dunes and you arrive at the beach with breath taking views of St Ives and Godrevy Light house, the steps by the lifeguard hut mentioned in previous comments are passable, but it is a bit tricky, we walked bearing further left and found a descent through the dunes that was not to bad, a bit steep in places so take care if you are unsteady on your feet. Lastly I must mention the wardens, all were extremely friendly and very helpful at all times, thank you all for a fantastic holiday, we will be back.
