We booked this site at the last minute on Saturday 9/07/16 as we were coming to Wales for our holiday we left a message on their answer machine as it was late. On Sunday morning Mrs Jones the warden called us to say she had availability so we were able to start our holiday 1 day early as we were going to travel over night on Sunday and stop in a layby or services. So off we travelled to Wales we found the site but the drive up to the site via a small lane was a bit tight for our twin axle van. The pitches are all grass so and sloping but we managed to get on a fairly flat section. The shower block could do with some upgrading it must get rather busy when full. Nice quiet site. We were only there for the 1 night but it was worth it, a good stop over point before we set off the next morning to our other little CL Site. Next to the site entrance is a farm shop. Nice little site but I think it would be difficult to get off the pitch if there was heavy rain as it is grass but not if you have a 4x4. Just take a look.
Fabulous site
What a fabulous site,so peaceful,so clean,lovely owners,so helpful.
The drive up to the site via a small lane was a bit scary. The pitches are sloping but no trouble. It was very windy when we arrived & we were on the top of the site (our choice) so putting up the awning took a little longer but the views we had made up for that.We had cows in the field next to us,loads of rabbits to watch, this site is so peaceful, it's hard to actually put it in words. Our dogs had a great time & the walks everyday up the lane exciting, pheasants, squirrels & rabbits to watch. The site is spotless & nothing too much trouble for the owners, you will be met everyday with cheery smiles! To sum it up,it rained every day, horendous wind but we still had a fabulous week & will definately be returning.

Little Gem of a site
What a pleasing change to find a site on the club network were the wardens are so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they have all the means to make sure your van is level on the sloping pitches.
The views from all pitches are fantastic and the area a must to visit, lots to do whatever the weather. We will be back.

Enjoyed the views
The two of us and Buster our dog enjoyed our stay here.although it was quite busy as it was the bank holiday week with lots of children but all were well behaved.the wardens were really helpful and friendly. Possibly it could be improved with a larger toilet bloc as 2 loos and 2showers did get quite busy. Will definitely return.
A fantastic site with a warm welcome.
On arrival at the site, we received a friendly welcome. After my ham fisted attempts to reverse the caravan onto our pitch, Jonny came along, offered advice and even gave me a lesson on how to reverse a caravan. This was our first outing in a caravan so I needed the help.
The site is spotless including the toilet and shower block.
There are great views from wherever you pitch.
Next holiday already booked!
First time at this site and before we left our next visit was already booked. Beautiful area & we had a view from every window. Site is kept spotless & the owners are very friendly & helpful. Where else could you go and have your caravan pitched for you. Cant wait to go back.
WOW
From the moment you arrive on site you start relaxing. The warm welcome, the beautiful scenery, the peace and quiet, even the offer of having your caravan put on the pitch for you.
Despite a very wet bank holiday weekend there was still plenty to see. Even Bison at the Rhug farm estate and shop. The food from here is excellent as well.
I can not praise the owners highly enough, they are so helpful and friendly. If you are in north wales this is the place to stay.
WONDERFUL
A site to revisit, we received a warm welcome from the wardens Jonny and Nerys, a special thank you to Jonny who, when he realised we were struggling with our T V aerial brought us his own which solved our problem. During the week we watched the wardens go out of their way to ensure everyone on site were happy. Great doggy area the showers were immaculate not a cobweb or spider to be seen and to top it off lots of superb places to visit. See you soon

Secret Escapes
I’m sure you have all seen the ad on TV. This is one of those sites that for reasons of total selfishness you don’t want to give it a good review, but this place is amazing, and we loved it. Nerys and Jonny are the perfect hosts, the whole site is kept so well and looks lovely. The scenery around the site is one of rolling hills and green fields filled with young lambs when we visited, rabbits in the hedge rows and woodpeckers knocking every morning.
Fitzmee fine
Well here I go. We stayed on this site with our dogs for a week mid April 2016. I said I would give feedback but I am a bit nervous and might regret it as it could come back and bite me on the bum. I will explain why later.
We arrived on site and the wardens, we found out were Nerys and Johnny, came out to greet us with welcoming smiles. He immediately asked if I would like him to pitch the caravan for me which I gratefully accepted. We went into the office to pay and on returning it was in place and level. Amazing speed and accuracy! For the whole of our stay, it didn’t matter what we asked we got a reply, a nice reply I hasten to add. The wardens were friendly and knowledgeable about the area of places to eat and visit, etc. The enclosed dog run was great for our English Springer Spaniels. The site was well cared for and the facilities were spotless plus tv booster and WiFi. The surrounding area was great for sightseeing and the dogs loved swimming in Bala Lake and Lyn Brenig. The site was quiet but we did meet a family who live about a mile from us on the Wirral. Everyone was friendly and spoke highly of the site and the way it was run and maintained. It even had a children’s play area although it was of no interest to us.
To explain my opening paragraph:- My concern is that people reading this will now want to visit and when I want to return it could be booked up.
Please save us a space as we will most definitely be back.
Thanks Nerys & Johnny from Pam & Les Fitzpatrick
