Calm oasis with wonderful owners

We stayed here in our caravan 8-15 July. What a wonderful site it is. Our pitch looked out over fields and we enjoyed watching a red kite soaring overhead most days. The site is really quiet and peaceful and although when we were here there were few children on site the facilities for them are great. As is the area for dog walking. Nerys and Johnnie the owners are the best and I’ve met some wonderful ones in my time. So friendly and cheerful and very helpful at suggesting walks and eating places. It was a pleasure to chat with them. I am sure many people revisit this site once they have been the first time. We certainly will next time we want to head for North Wales.

Great little gem

Stayed here 12th to 16th June. loverly welcome by the friendly wardens. This is a small site but has everything we needed and what fabulous views all round. Although this is a grass site it was beautifully mowed and loverly to walk on. we were so glad we picked this site against the near by more popular site, and being just off the A5 its easy to visit the many popular places around the area.. definitely will come again.

Pure Heaven!

What an excellent site in a very beautiful location. If you like wildlife there are plenty of rabbits running around the site and I also saw a stoat underneath a hedge. It was quiet & peaceful during our 6 night stay in mid May 18. The childrens play area is fantastic especially if your kids like football as it has two big goal enclosures The showers and toilets were spotless and rubbish bins cleared every day. The owners are extremely friendly & helpful and it won’t be long before we will return for more walks up the ‘Berwyns’

Amazing site so friendly and helpful

We stayed two nights at this site, it was outstanding. The welcome was warm and friendly. We could pick our own pitch and the Warden then came to make sure everything was okay. It was a lovely quiet site, with a secure area for the dogs to run, which was great as one of our young dogs is deaf, so this was a bonus. The showers and toilets where clean and tidy, plus tourist information available also, which was very helpful. We had a lovely walk down the hill and a coffee at the Rhug Estate Organic Cafe, expensive but a little treat. We will definitely be returning to this site, a true gem in the middle of Wales. Thank you for making over weekend so special x

Our favourite.

Gaer Hyfryd is our favourite Club site, if you want a site that is peaceful and have great views all around this the place for you. Good walks from the site, secure dog exercise area. Lovely owner/wardens who keep everywhere neat and tidy and still have time for a friendly chat. Sylvia Davies.

Shame about their neighbours especially at the weekend

Would have been a 5 star but for the noise from the neighbouring wedding venue on Friday night & also the gas gun (Sounds like a shotgun to frighten off the birds) from the farmers fields which start at dawn 6.00am and stop at dusk 8.00pm. Be aware that there is noise from approx 9.00pm to 12.45am from the disco next door. There was less noise on the Saturday night which was welcomed. The site is superb with grassy pitches, nice and big, caravan, car & awning. Surrounded by wonderful scenery and not too farm from the local organic far shop at Rhug Estate. Wardens & owners were very helpful and friendly shame about their neighbours.

Fantastic Site. Fantastic Owners.

This site is in a wonderful location in a very picturesque part of the world. The site itself is easy to access with lovely spacious, largely grassy pitches. It is beautifully clean and tidy and is overseen by the most helpful and understanding owners imaginable. I can't recommend this site highly enough.
