Wooded Peace
We stayed with two grandchildren for a week and found the site heavily wooded, quiet and spotless. All but two pitches are hard standing. The children though were less well pleased, no play area and unusually no other children of similar ages. Now this may suit many but it left our two somewhat disappointed especially as this was peak season summer holiday time. Having said that we found plenty to entertain them nearby and had good days out at Bodiam Castle and Camber Sands. The nearest beaches at Pett Level and Winchelsea are pebble at high tide but exposing massive sand areas and rock pools at low tide, a real enjoyment.
for the children. We loved the site and will return without the children just to explore the lovely woodland and amazing views that are on offer all around.
