We stayed here in June 2018. The facilities were spotlessly clean the warden was friendly and helpful. Good food a short walk through the wood to The Two Sawyers pub. Unfortunately this site is overrun by the dog brigade. We saw owners with four and six dogs some were off lead. I would say that we counted upwards of 30 dogs on this small site The barking and yapping was at times unbearable.

We were at that site in May and saw only two dogs who were both well behaved and caused no nuisance at all.

Therefore, numerous dogs are not a permanent feature of this site anymore than noisy neighbours or bad weather.

Did you bring the rule breaking to the attention of the warden? It is the way to deal with these things rather than moaning about the people you somewhat rudely label as 'the dog brigade' in a site review.

It's obviously taken the OP a full month to recover from the experience! Oddly enough, none of the other reviewers seem to have been blighted in the same way! frown

Seriously, though, stilroamin, you're new to the forum (and very welcome as new members) so it's understandable that you won't have realised this matter has been raised many times before and the advice given has always been to make the wardens on site aware of the problem in the first instance. Hope that'll help if you're ever in the same situation again.
