We wanted a site close to the sea and Rye. A little difficult to find as we approached from a different route to that published by the CC. I am glad that we didn't have a large towed outfit as the access is tight. When we arrived we were very surprised, it was like arriving in an oasis from the Hobbit, very picturesque. The staff were delightful giving us clear directions to our standing and also a dog walk which finished at a pleasant old fashioned pub (The Two Sawyers) which what appeared to be wholesome fare, although we had already made arrangements but will try the food in the future. We will definitely be using this site again, unfortunately it was the last weekend before closing for the Winter. We be booking the first weekend in March.
