If you like a small site which is quiet (no road noise), plenty of walks, lots of trees, this is for you. Many places to visit including the ancient town of Rye (park in Station car park - cheapest and no height restrictions - check), Hastings, Winchelsea town and beach. I don't think the site is ideal for children due to lack of facilities, but if they love walking.... We pitched under a tree and found the acorns falling through the night were a problem - and the rain! All in all I think the site is ideal for a short stay. Nice pubs and restaurants not far away - Beefeater about two miles. Enjoy this clean and compact site with super wardens.
