Lovely autumn break

Stayed for 4 nights at beginning of October for a relaxing break. First time at this smaller site and we were impressed by its location and especially the wonderful dog walking in the wood next to the site. The trees surrounding the site were showing their autumn colours and there was an abundance of acorns, sweet chestnuts and wildlife everywhere. The wardens were very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful when we found a puncture in one of the car wheels ,delaying our departure the next day. The facilities were spotless and the wardens made a great effort to keep the pitches clear of debris from the trees. Hastings was a real treat to visit, especially the Shipwreck museum and the Old Town but it was difficult to decide which Fish and Chip shop to choose from all those by the seafront! We will definitely visit again, maybe in the spring to see the bluebells in the Questling Wood.
