We booked this site initially for a two night stop over on our way home, we had been out traveling since the 1st of September stopping exclusively at CAMC sites due to the no deposit policy which suits us especially at this time. Having read other members reviews regarding its facilities block & how it was not up to standards I became worried about what we would find as we found that all of our five previous CAMC sites had deteriorated since our previous visits a couple of years ago especially the facilities blocks. We cancelled one night & remained where we were but could not book in anywhere else for the other night so we had to go to Exeter. What a pleasant surprise, the temp wardens (from Looe site) were exceptionally friendly & helpful and the site was well looked after with what seemed like endless dog walking opportunities. So to investigate the much moaned about facilities block ...... Clean & tidy, no black mould anywhere (Trewethett Farm it was everywhere) no nasty smells, no tiles or anything else for that matter broken (Godrevy had lots of broken tiles & loos) So what is all the fuss about? At £15 per night (after VAT reduction) this costs less than most CLs ! We were only disappointed that we had cancelled the previous nights stay, would we return... YES definitely.
