Good for families

Very good site, well-run

Stayed three nights early June 2021. Site is very nicely located, easy to find. Had a grass pitch for our camper van, nicely situated close to trees, end of a row. Grass pitches can be muddy after rain, I suspect - our one was, unsurprisingly, but we did have some heavy downpours. Lots of dogs in evidence: there is a designated dog-walking area on site so a fair bit of dog barking-yapping at times. Pitches up the sloping area closest to the road and the tall trees could suffer from traffic noise, I suspect. The site was virtually full throughout our time there with caravans, campers and motorhomes. The two site managers were really excellent - helpful, friendly, informative. Shower block, toilets and washing-up area were kept scrupulously clean, with the Club's Covid-precaution "wrist band-on-the-hook" system of limiting number of folk using the showers/loos. Works well if everyone does what they're supposed to! Very good water/rubbish/grey waste/toilet tank disposal sites, all conveniently located beside the tarmac'ed roadways. Lovely views, well-tended grass areas and shrub beds. Highly recommended and very good value. Thank you to the two Club Managers for a great stay.
