Wonderful site
I find it very sad that many people only use this site for overnights on the way north or south. We had several days here in April/May and it is so calm and peaceful it really deserves more time. The gardens are immaculate, and the secret garden a delight. There is lots to do in the area, from the city of Carlisle to Hadrians Wall to the Solway Air Museum, and so much more.
