Just had a week at what is our favourite Club site. Beautifully set within trees, very quiet and the site managers are excellent especially the way they look after the site. Just one caveat: this is the third time we’ve been faced with ‘road closed’ signs. The first time it was the water company (had to reverse the van in a fairly narrow B road until we could do a six point turn), second time it was just closed, diversion not bad via a housing estate and today the gas company had dug a trench and the diversion was via a narrow lane. All good fun and not the site managers’ fault. Reckon it’s us that jinx the place.
