We just spent three nights at Englethwaite Hall over the Easter break.We managed to get lost due to the diversions in place because of road works. We rang one of the wardens at the site who helped us get back on track. The wardens are brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them. We are new to caravanning and the wardens helped us out once or twice, thank you so much. The site is kept in an immaculate condition and if you want peace and quiet this is the place. Your not too far away from civilization if that's what you want ( big Tesco and Carlisle not too far away)or you can immerse yourself into the country side. With the wardens help and booking this site its given us the confidence to venture out further in future. The only down side, if you can call it that, is the lack of signage directing us to the site, Sat navs sometimes send you the wrong way, saying that maybe its best keeping it a secret so the site wont get spoilt.
