We recently stayed for 4 nights in Edinburgh at the end of a two week mini tour of Scotland.  We found the site amenities dated to say the least, considering this is a flagship site and comparing it to the Brighton site we visited last year it was very poor. It was all the more disappointing as several overseas guests we spoke to this was there first taste of our sites.  The site was well looked after and clean but the wardens could only do so much, chipped tiles and damaged seats in the showers don't give a good impression. We did speak to one of the warden and were told there is a refurbishment due, all I can say is the sooner the better in my opinion.
