Third Stop of Autumn Tour
Durham is a Beautiful City with much to see. The walk from site is good especially the part beside The River Weare. The location is good apart from constant noise from the two dual carriageways. However, this is less annoying than occasional traffic is if one stays near a bypass with roundabouts or traffic lights. Site facilties are excellent and all staff very helpful.
Dining out can be really reasonable and most places are dog friendly, except near the site. We will return to see more in future.
