Pleasant weekend
Lovely, clean and tidy site with friendly and helpful wardens who clearly take pride in their work. Great base for exploring Durham and surrounding area. We had a nice time visiting the attractions of the City of Durham, the Angel of the North and Cherryburn NT property. Will definitely come again. Yes there is some background road noise, as many reviewers have mentioned, but its not bad.
