Nice site for a stopover, but not for longer periods.
If you have dogs very difficult too do a decent long walk local to site site, no pavements on local roads, the only path you can use is not worth the cleaning needed when you get back because so muddy.
Taxis very expensive considering durham only 3 miles away, park and ride handy though.
Easy access to Newcastle from durham also handy, once you get to Durham.
The site itself is ok so such a shame.
