We found Durham grange a great location for our touring around, and must be the easiest site to find and get to. The staff were very polite and friendly, judging from the site and facilities they are also hard workers, the site is neat and tidy and the facilities were always clean. We enjoyed the area lots for us to see and do, the sculpture of a first world war soldier at Seaham is not to be missed, very emotive we thought. The down side of our stay was the insessant noise from the A1 even in the dead of night it was busy and noisy. Just out side the site in a motorway service depot were there was a team of men working through the night they were also very noisy, we know this is not the club's fault but be prepared for the disturbance from the noise.
