Stayed one night (Motorhome and two adults £25.60) – parked nearest point to A1(M) but heard no noise and slept like a top. Despite heavy rain the site seemed to drain well. The single file path from the site to the River Wear was very muddy, wellies or walking boots required, but should be more manageable in the Summer – the less mobile will have problems walking the riverside path to Durham.
