Durham in Transit
We stayed at Durham this summer and found it to be very well sited, easy to find and up to the usual standard for Caravan Club sites. There is back ground noise from the A1 motorway although it is not excessive. There is an interesting walk into Durham (footpath and river side) and the city also interesting. The site is well situated for trips by road or train into Newcastle and surrounding towns and cities.
