Durham Grange is Ideally situated just off the A1m in County Durham and maybe a mile or two from the beautiful Cathedral City of Durham. Shopaholics will find it really convenient for visiting the Metro Centre in Gateshead, Durham City and Teesside. Heritage buffs will find it great for visiting places such as Beamish Open Air Museum, Durham Cathedral, Raby Castle and a bit further afield Hadrians Wall and the coastal Castles of Northumberland, all within an hour or two by car. For those that like beautiful countryside couldn't come to a better place with the North York Moors not too far away and upper Teesdale , Weardale and Tynedale all close by. The site is well equipped, clean and tidy with helpful staff on hand should you have any problems. If you have a long journey from the North or South that is perhaps a bit too long to complete in one day then it is the ideal place to stay overnight being only a few hundred yards off the motorway.
