This site isn't too far from our home, and as it's open all year round it's a simple answer to the question "Do you fancy a few days away in the 'van?" The site is close to the Park and Ride into Durham, and your P&R ticket also allows free travel on the bus from the market place up to the Cathedral and Castle. Once you've exhausted all that Durham has to offer, you are right next to the A1 so it's easy to head north or south to explore the wider area. If you are simply passing through, the site is an ideal stopover as you are heading north or south. We will be back soon!
