We have just spent 8 nights at this very peaceful site. The wardens were lovely and we couldn't fault it. There are no facilities which is why I gave a low rate for cleanliness. If there was anything to criticise it would be seasonal pitches. We counted 11 of them and everyone had an empty caravan on it. It seemed deserted with only half of the touring pitches occupied, mostly with motorhomes/ Campervans staying one night. We had a lovely pitch and really enjoyed our stay but we didnt like the west coast. We found ourselves driving inland to the nicer parts of the lake district which we have done before. We wouldn't go back because of the area but the site was great for us, if we could move it but then it would cost a lot more.
