We stayed at Daleacres from 22nd to 26th April to try out our new porch awning which we were told was fine for reasonable weather. However it rained and blew a gale all weekend which was a good test for it and it put up with it all. The site is lovely and quiet and well kempt and the dog walk is excellent. We will keep this site on our favourites list and return soon. Staff were helpful and happy. Dennis & Sue Marsh.
Great site
Thank you for a lovely short break. The site was quiet, clean and service very good. The showers and Loos are excellent as we have come to expect from all Caravan Club sites. We played table tennis in there recreation room, a lovely facility to provide. Good cycle routes and walks along the Military Chanel and into Hythe. The nearby pub did a very good meal and beer, very reasonable prices and good portions, excellent friendly service and a nice place to go to.
Very nice site
Site was lovely, all staff are very friendly, site is clean, good sized pitches, clean showers and toilets, not far from a pub, zoo and town, would stay again!
A hidden gem
We've just spent 4 nights at Daleacres and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wardens are friendly and the amenities first class with a top notch toilet block. With Port Lympne Wildlife Park across the road (and a few fields) the occasional roar of lions and Giraffes easily visible made for an unusual caravan break. For the South East the local roads are so quiet. We had a relaxing bike ride to Bilsington and the superb White Horse without any traffic problems at all. If you are going to the White Horse for a meal make sure you are hungry as the portions are massive (hopefully the management will not change soon)! Obeying the directions to get there is critical as the surrounding roads are very narrow. Overall we had a brilliant break.

Relaxing and Quiet site
Spent two nights here ,Very quiet and peaceful .Walked into Dymchurch across the fields from back of site onto Donkey Street then on tarmac roads arrived at Burmarsh hoping to take refreshment at the Shepherd and Crook only to find it Closed. However well worth the visit on the return journey. Food was exceptional, truly home made and a very warm welcome. Staff on site very helpful and facilities exceptionally well kept. If you want a quiet break look no further. ,

Daleacres Good but Non-member concerns
Returned for a lovely few days at Daleacres with my two young boys. Site was clean, Wardens were helpful and friendly as usual.Met some very nice people. My one concern is the new policy of allowing non-CC members. I felt with CC members only there was at least some record of who was on site. For me with two young children this made it a bit more secure.
Love this site
2nd time we have been here we only live about 8 miles away but it feels miles away. Toilet block fantastic best we have seen. Came here as I am training for a marathon and had worked out a 20 mile training route along the cycle path route into Folkestone and back. Even though it was school holidays it was a peaceful stay. Clean and well kept site . Staff were very helpful. Even though site is close to home for a quick no hassle weekend perfect location and site.
easter break
nice site very quite nice and clean well looked after even though we was there when it was windy they was so kind to say not travel until the wind had died down which was after the departure the time thankyou
Wonderful Learning Experience
This was my first outing in my first, newly acquired (but ancient) motor home, bought on a whim! I was frankly, terrified with no idea which knob & lever did what and fully expecting to go up in a flash of blue smoke any second. With three of my 6 'Jacks' I fetched up at this site as it was the closest to home (in case of needing rescue) and I am so glad I did. A wonderful, spotlessly clean site, in beautiful surroundings and with such friendly people, both staff and fellow travellers, I can know use all the 'knobs & levers' and set off for the clear blue yonder with confidence. Actually I'm going back to Daleacres too. It might only be a few miles from home but the leisurely wanders over wonderfully peaceful countryside with such good facilities to return to is so relaxing. can't praise this site highly enough.
Only round the corner
We came to this site as the first outing of the year to shake down our camper, even though it was less than 2 miles from where live it made great sense to shake the camper down here. We was not disappointed super clean, very well maintained and very peaceful, with the view and peacefulness we could have been anywhere, the site managers were very helpful
