This is a lovely site, the entrance feels a bit scary with all the boulders lining the single track road but it does ensure you concentrate! We stayed for two nights, enjoyed a lovely walk with our dogs into Cirencester via the Bathurst estate, really nice and so was the ice cream from a vendor on the estate drive. Unfortunately when we arrived on the site we joined a queue of about 8 vehicles waiting patiently to enter, we had the encounter with a warden who yelled at the top of his voice " Disco move up". Well my wife was waiting in the car and ready to move when possible due to the line of vehicles waiting. As she had no where to go the yelling was unnecessary rudeness. Shouty man appeared in the panic of wardens to clear the queue, luckily another warden with logic identified the issue and directed my wife to the 'Keep Clear" lane to assist with the vehicle congestion. Not a nice welcome from shouty man. the ret of our stay was lovely and we did not see or hear of him again.
