Just back home after a four night visit to this lovely campsite. Although on the large scale with 211 pitches it is carefully designed into separate areas giving a sense of a smaller site. All the warders we met were very friendly and helpful. The shower block was large clean and never busy during our stay. With Bathurst Park only 5 minutes’ walk from the site and the town of Cirencester accessible via the park (0800-1700) it's a great location. The market is on Mondays and Fridays and worth a look. We ate at both The Fleece and The Bear Inn both very good. If you don't fancy eating out most nights various vendors visit the site with a variety of food to take away. Lots of walks to be had in the Park which on some days also have Polo matches (open to visitors) if you wish to go further afield with your walks plenty of those available from 4 miles to 10 miles loops. Also worth a mention is the heated (27 degrees) natural spring outdoor swimming pool (15 minutes’ walk away) we booked a session prior to our visit and as being 60+ the charge of £8.00 for us both we thought was very good. In summary then a most enjoyable stay and one we intend to visit again when one of the Sounds of the Summer Music Festivals is on in Bathurst Park.
