Great for walking into Cirencester or around the park

We come to this site every year, this year twice. Great for dogs - a large dog exercise field on site and the vast expanse of Cirencester Park next to the site. You now need a pass to get into the park ( and it is only open between 8am and 5pm ) which you can get from the site office for £10 refundable. The walk into the town centre through the park takes about 20 minutes and there are plenty of shops to suit all tastes. Although the site is large, the pitches are generally well spaced out although quite a number are under trees which we do not like but we have usually been able to find a pitch to our liking. The toilet blocks are up to the usual high club standard. The only disappointment is the awful wi-fi. The club made a song and dance last year about how it was improving wi-fi at its sites. Numerous private sites provide good wi-fi these days and many places provide it for free. The club is lagging hopelessly behind in this respect.
