Terrible access road

The main problem is the long access road which is a single track, pot holed mess. Made worse by the locals/cricket club supporters who need to pass along this route, and obviously hate caravans. My wife and I were verbally abused when trying to leave the site with the van with many 4 x 4 s coming the other way. Also, the road markings on this twisting site are incomprehensible. Most people don't know which way to exit !

Not a lot the club can do about the access lane as it belongs to the agricultural college, frown and we have yet to have a problem finding the exit and we are on a grass pitch behind the top toilet block which entails almost a full circuit  of the site, just follow the arrows and exit signs,  but then very few also do not notice the 5mph signs on the roads eithersurprised

Cirencester is my go-to site for quick breaks in low season. The access road is not good, shared by the school and the tennis/cricket clubs and potholed along the edges but by no means difficult to drive down. I have never experienced any problem with users of the other facilities so I think you were unlucky. I don't understand the comment about the exit which is absolutely clearly labelled unless things have changed since I was there in March. And I certainly don't understand why you've scored it 1 for location given its proximity to the town of Cirencester and to the park which provides miles of walking.
