Unfortunately the new road is nothing to do with the site. It is a private road owned by the Cirencester College and therefore did not require planning permission. As the site is a tenant of the college land, all the college we’re required to do was ensure the road to the site remained. When we saw the road we cancelled our booking as we were concerned about the boulders. It’s a shame as the site is amazing.

bpm001. The new access road did require Planning Approval, and the Planning Application ref:19/02166/Full was submitted by Cirencester College, and approved by Cirencester Council on the 17th December 2019. I understand the Club did submit comments on the Application, but clearly the outcome in terms of the completed access road is not satisfactory as an access for traffic into a 211 pitch caravan park.
