We booked this site for a quick, post winter weekend, prior to putting the van in for a service, and were not disappointed. We booked a serviced pitch and when we arrived we were informed that we were the first people to use these new pitches. Unfortunately there were a few teething troubles with the electrics, but to the credit of the wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, they were straight out trying to fix the problem before I could get down to reception to tell them about it! The toilet and shower block was absolutely immaculate, showers were nice and hot, and although we didn't use the laundry and dishwashing areas, we did have a look and found them to be equally spotless. If I can find a negative regarding this site, it is the mud around the new serviced pitches. Because they have literally only just been completed, the grass needs to grow in and given the recent snow and the rain for most of the time we were there, you might want to bring wellies until the site dries out. The lane approaching the site is littered with potholes so slow right down when you come in. Once the groundworks settle down, we will be back there like a shot, wonderful site with great staff.
