We use this delightful site frequently, either as a base for touring by car or, just as often, as a staging point en route to further afield.  We live on the coast in Hampshire and this places Cirencester most conveniently for a pit-stop in either direction to several areas of the UK.. The wardens have always been helpful and genuinely friendly; not always the case elsewhere, and keep the site looking at its best. The location is great for touring the Cotswolds and south Midlands and is within striking distance of Bath, a city we love to visit.  Last year we used Cirencester as a base to visit Bath Christmas Market. Cirencester itself is delightful with huge history to explore, big name stores and most pleasingly, many independent smaller businesses. We will be back, of course.
