My wife and I, plus our 4 legged family have recently had our third Christmas (second New Year) break at Cirencester Park. What a fantastic time we had, along with 4 friends and their 4 legged family. Full Christmas dinner in the awning, no dropping of standards just because we were not at home! The sites location is perfect, whether you wish to explore Lord Bathurst’s estate on foot and then into Cirencester, or explore other Cotswolds villages by car. The facilities were up to club standards, as you would expect. As in previous years, we have found the atmosphere on site and attitude of other caravanners/motorhomers over Christmas and New Year to be great. The vast majority getting into the spirit of the season and many showing exceptional talents in the decorations department..... Our Christmas was enhanced this year with a little snow, although a couple of days late....not actually on Christmas Day which would have been perfect. A final word of thanks - to all 4 wardens. Their continual friendly faces and attitudes from the first day of arrival to the closing of the barrier on leaving was a joy. To say they went “above & beyond” is an understatement. In over 10 years of visiting many Caravan Club sites around the country, I would say that this quartet are by far the best ever - that you all. Sadly, all 4 wardens are now moving on....what is Cirencester Parks loss will be Edinburgh & York’s gain. Perhaps we visit those sites next? Happy 2018 all.
