An excellent family site
Having previously visited the site on a number of occasions, my wife and I were looking for inspiration for a half term week away with my daughter and grandchilden. This site proved to be an inspired choice, from the warm welcome, spotless facilities through to its convenient location. The children's play area was a hit . The location of the site is handy for visits into Cirencester itself on foot via the Bathurst Estate park. The town has numerous small "interesting" shops and places to eat. Our favourite is the Black Horse, which offers only "pub grub" but their Old Spot sausages went down particularly well.
Days out included Stroud, Tetbury and Gloucester, including a visit to the redeveloped Quays area. A trip to the Swindon Steam Museum was a hit with the grandchildren tempered with a trip to the adjoining designed outlet to entertain the ladies in our party.
The grandkids have informed me that a return visit is required to this site. Praise indeed
