The largest site we've ever stayed at: we needed a couple of days away from pressure; wanted somewhere which had space at short notice; within easy walking distance of a town we hadn't been to. We were'nt disappointed... the site - though large - is very spacious. A friendly welcome. The facilities are excellent, some of the very best we've ever encountered, at marinas (very expensive) or at CC sites. The walk into Cirencester is lovely, through a wonderful park, down to the town which has a fascinating museum, lovely friendly church, beautiful buildings, and a Romano-British amphitheatre. Just what we wanted!
weekend away
Made very welcome on arrival with the pitches easly marked out and spacious the facilities were imacculate and the grounds impecable. My wife loved watching the rabits and the pot holes at the site entrance took us on a rollercoaster ride lol thank very much
Lovely park
we found this site to be a lovely position super walk into town and good location for surrounding towns. It was very peaceful apart from that pesky woodpecker(joking) and we will return there. Only slight downside the entrance road has potholes so beware.
Lovely site
I only stayed one night. Got a pitch right next to the shower block. Nothing at all to complain about. Only thing I would advise it's make sure you have a long Ariel cable as the electric post was the full length of our cable from the van. Think it's about 30ft, but that's just advise for any site
August bank Holiday
We stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday.
Even with the site full during our stay, there was plenty of space between pitches.
Only a 20 min walk into Cirencester along the estate path, which runs at the back of the site.
Peace and Quiet
We have stayed at this site several times this year, and cannot fault it at all. It is only 30 minutes from our house, but it feels a world away.
The facilities are spotless, the wardens extremely helpful and friendly.
Having had the fish and chips twice now, I can confirm they are fantastic, and only £5.00, surely in todays age a real bargain.
Well worth staying at
We had a 5 day stay first ever visit. Clean and well maintained site. Easy access into Town through grounds of estate, approx 15 min walk. Fish/chip van on Tues/Sat nights cod very tasty. Thursday night pizza cooked in wood fire not tried but smelt delicious. Telephone service poor so if you like to keep in touch bit hit and miss. Wifi also during our stay very poor not much of an issue for us but could be for others. Lots of places to visit Newark Park NT good place to visit nice walks. Cotswold Water Park worth a visit nice flat walks. Would recommend visiting this site and we shall certainly return in the future.

6 day stay
spent 6 days here in August. A lovely site in a great location with friendly and helpful wardens.
8 day stay
hi having read some of the reviews I had to make a comment on how well we rated the site
we found everything to be what we would expect from a c.c.club site in fact more !
the staff were more than pleasant location good
I would disagree with one review they said the on site fish & chips were no good I would like to try the ones they thought were good.we found the only downside was the weather as usual !
also the approach road a little tarmac would help
we shall be going again .why not try for yourself.

Short Stay
Stayed on this site for 2 nights on our epic 8 week trip south from Scotland. It was up to the expected caravan club standard, friendly wardens, very clean and easy access on foot to the town which is useful for us motorhomers. We will certainly consider this site again for more than just a stop over.
