Enjoyable stay

Spent 4 nights at Cirencester Park, remains a very well maintained site. We have stayed here twice and it is extremely well located with good dog walk on site and an enjoyable stroll through the park into Cirencester. The Steam extravaganza was on at the weekend and we had an enjoyable day exploring the beautiful city of Bath. The weather could have been better but it didn't stop us enjoying our stay here.

Very helpful

After an overnight stop on the way back from Cornwall we departed early, about half an hour later my wife discovered her phone was missing. We needn't have worried as the warden was already on the phone to our next stop to let them know the phone had been found. Many thanks to the person who handed it in and the staff who went the extra mile to make sure we were relocated with the phone.

Rain rain go away!

We spent a a wet few days at this site with our granddaughter. The site is large and the road system can be confusing however the grass pitches were large and well spaced out unlike the hard standing pitches and the toilet blocks are within easy reach of most pitches. The children's play area was disappointingly small compared with the size of the site and situated under a dense canopy of tress which did not make it very inviting. Our granddaughter was reluctant to go in. The bad weather made the situation worse. There is a large area adjoining Cirencester Park and close to the dog walking area for ball games and Boules. It's a pity this is not developed more with some goal posts and the children's play area located here out in the open. Cirencester is an easy walk through the park grounds.

Convenient for town and lovely surroundings

Large but quiet and well laid out site with lovely 15 minute walk to town through parkland. Superb fenced in dog walk and good play area for children. Our week had to be interupted by my wife and I having to return home for two days. So our son and his small child came whilst we were away. He asked where our pitch was but on explaining the reason the warden prevented him from staying unless a member was with him. So I had to stay rather than disappoint the child which caused problems at home. So much for being honest at the outset and athough we were not aware of such a rule a little discretion would not have been amiss.

Great site and excellent location

This was our second visit to Cirencester Park, this time we also took in the Cotswold Show (which we can highly recommend). The site is large but never seems too busy. We had lots of choice of pitches, which is always a good start with plenty of space around us. Shower and toilet facilities were good and close enough wherever you pitched. Cirencester is 15 mins walk away. Fascinating mix of old and new with pubs, shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. The abbey and grounds are also worth a visit. http://cirencester.com/ Some decent cycling on local routes largely on very quiet country lanes which was good fun taking in many local villages en-route. A lovely location in both it's own right but also as a stopping point travelling further afield ............. in our case to Cornwall. Look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful site and fab location

Our second long weekend stay here. Great selection of pitches. Friendly and helpful wardens. Cirencester is a gem of a town. Mixture of old and new. Great walk thru the park to the town. Superstores all nearby. Very easy to get to. On our list of regular stays. We love it here.

Very nice park

Stayed 6 nights at Cirencester Park, either side of the Cotswold Show weekend which was very enjoyable. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and we weren't dissapointed, very well kept park, shower & toilet blocks kept very clean. Fab enclosed dog exercise field, which is very welcomed by our 2 dogs. Again this field was very nicely kept. Wardens very helpful and friendly, look forward to visiting again next year.
