Great location and friendly helpful staff

Stayed Friday 29th Sept before the Le Col Colnago day at Chavenage House. Very good location and the pitch was perfect to catch the afternoon sun for the last BBQ of the year. Somehow my electric tripped with only 10 minutes before the office closed. Staff came immediately to sort the problem and I had a trouble free stay as a result. 5 star service with a smile. Many thanks. Mick Rennison

Relaxing Place

First visit to this site and it was everything we could have wished for. Wardens were friendly and very welcoming. Site facilities were immaculate and kept to a high standard. A lovely short walk into Cirencester through the Bathurst estate taking about 20 minutes. We look forward to a return visit.

Lovely site and location

Positives Lovely site and location. Cirencester is a beautiful Cotswold town with all facilities provided. An excellent area for cycling in the nearby quiet country lanes - especially around the Cerney Lakes. Negatives The bumpy lane into the site, full of potholes, and often students from the nearby college. If good reception of TV, phone and WiFi is important to you, go for the higher up pitches, not the lower ones near to the exit barrier.

A fabulous site

We stayed at Cirencester Park for a long weekend and loved it. The site is very well maintained with spacious pitches. As we were there in September the grass pitches had been closed, but we were more than happy to have a hardstanding pitch. The walk into Cirencester through the Bathurst Estate is lovely and the town has a lot of independent shops as well as the usual chain stores. The wardens were very welcoming and helpful and we had a fabulous time - in fact we've booked to return over Christmas!

Another enjoyable stay

This is the second time we have stayed on this site. The wardens have taken a lot of trouble to make the site very attractive particularly with the floral displays around reception. The facilities were exceptionally clean as we have come to expect for the Caravan Club. Our dog enjoys the very spacious dog walk and we all enjoy the walk into Cirencester town centre through the Bathurst estate which is adjacent to the club site. There are also a number of dog friendly pubs in Cirencester. The wardens were very friendly and helpful particularly with an issue we had on our departure day. Having hitched up our new caravan we were unable to attach the electrics to our car. Having struggled for about 15 minutes we sought the help of the wardens. Within a few minutes they arrived at our pitch and explained the problem with the electric pins moving within the plug housing. They were able to supply the appropriate tool to reset the plug and we were on our way. We would have been stranded without their help. Many thanks - we shall come again. .

Lovely return visit to Cirencester Park

We recently spent ten days at Cirencester Park, and were joined by our two grand daughters for part of the time. It was very busy, as our stay included the August Bank holiday, but we were very impressed by the friendly, hard working wardens, who kept everything in tip top condition throughout our stay. The site looked lovely, very well cared for with wonderful flower displays. The walk into the town through the Bathurst Estate is a pure pleasure and Cirencester is a lovely town with good facilities. The whole area, Cotswold villages etc. ensures you have plenty to see. I strongly do not recommend, however, paying the £16 (school holiday rate) to park your car at Lake 32 (beach lake) at the Cotswold Water Park! We did not visit over the Bank Holiday period, so no excuse for the rubbish bins all overflowing, and the toilets inadequate. Definitely not to be repeated! Full marks on everything else. Great site, lovely area.

Excellent 5 night break

Brilliant campsite, really rural and quiet considering how close to the town it is. Lovely walk in with some fab restaurants and pubs - Jesse's Bistro is an absolute MUST. Facilities fantastic and clean and plenty of them. Best break we've had in our motorhome this year.

Recent visit thoroughly enjoyable

Just returned from the site having spent the weekend there. This is a lovely site next to a beautiful walk through the park to the town centre. The museum is a must and the ticket price is not expensive, we spent 4 hours going round. There is a supermarket less than 15 minutes walk from the site ideal for the larger items the site shop doesn't have. The site itself is spotless and peaceful. There are 2 toilet/shower blocks and there was never a queue for either. The staff are very friendly and polite. Could not fault this site, one of the best we have stayed on and we will certainly return. Mr & Mrs Slater from Rugby

Another enjoyable stay

Stopped here overnight whilst visiting the Steam Fair at South Cerney. It's a lovely site and very conveniently located for Cirencester town via a beautiful walk through the Bathhurst Estate. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are beautifully maintained, even though the site was very full on the Saturday night. A much better experience than staying on Cheltenham Racecourse earlier in the year where we were trouble with rats, left a day early due to this, and were unable to have a refund because we didn't give 72 hours notice! Can thoroughly recommend Cirencester Park.
