We have stopped at this site several times and have always been made to feel welcome, the site is an oasis of green with everywhere well tended
The only down side is the entrance, for people new to caravaning it must look like an assault course especially this time as they were carrying out laying services in the road.
Excellent stay
Recently stayed for four nights (Mon -Fri) with caravan, Have been before. Great location for walking into Cirencester Park and the Town. For us it was ideal for walks in the Stroud direction such as Slad, Minchinhampton Common, Sapperton and Daneway etc, Recommend The Bell at Sapperton and the Daneway Inn for good food. The site is large but spacious and quiet. Facilities are good and the staff are great. Whilst the access road is narrow, there are passing places and if you're patient it's usually OK. Those boulders are a pain though - rather intimidating!
Lovely stay at Cirencester Park
Just got back from a lovely week at Cirencester Park , nice pitch on grass which allowed us to put up our windshields with ease , meals eaten outside our van and our little dog loved the grass, walked into town most days through the part which is so peaceful, you can watch people playing tennis or cricket on the way , stop for an ice cream from the food van in the park , had a lovely pizza at a restaurant near Tesco’s, many places to eat out, this site is one of our favourites, don’t worry too much about the access road just take your time already booked for next year, some food vans visit the site every day except Monday if you like that sort of thing examples pizza, fish & chips etc , for those with mobility problems good path for mobility scooter into town
Ok site, terrible access road
Very large rambling site with numerous site roads, some one way, some two way, all a bit confusing. Pitches are a good distance apart with many trees on the site. Plenty of service points. Our hard standing pitch was quite narrow, only wide enough for caravan and awning, car had to be in front of caravan. It was fine for us as our caravan is small, would be a problem for bigger outfits. Larger pitches were the fully serviced ones or grass. Surface of our pitch was tired, bare in places and weeds. Our stay here was ruined by the access road which is appalling. Narrow with small passing places and huge boulders at the road sides. Even worse, the road outside the sit is in the process of being narrowed for traffic calming! This will cause huge problems when finished with turning into the site road. The other major issue we had, was everyone cutting through pitches to get to the blocks. Also the site Wi-fi is awful. Download speed is 0.2 - 0.4 megabytes.
Lovely site, dreadful access.
We have stayed at this site several times over the past few years and thoroughly enjoyed our stays. The wardens are always friendly, the toilet blocks are large and always spotless and the site well laid out. So we were looking forward to another visit. Imagine our horror when we came across the dreadful access road. Not only are the vergeside boulders sharp enough to cause serious caravan/motor home damage, many are worryingly hidden under overflowing vegetation. When leaving the site we had to squeeze past two cars coming in, possibly heading towards the tennis and cricket clubs, who were obviously not impressed that their passage was impeded by a cautious caravanner.
Some of the pitches do need some renovation work. Our pitch and some nearby had very little top dressing and ours became quite messy with sticky white mud after rain.
I appreciate many reviewers are going on about the poor access but the more complaints are made about it, hopefully the Club will take notice and remedy the situation. Similar to other reviewers, I don’t think we will be going back again until this issue is sorted.

Fantastic apart from entrance lane
We stayed here with our 8 year old fir a weekend break in July 2021.
The site is quite simply lovely, well spaced out pitches and wonderfully quiet at night, no hint of road noise.
The Bathurst estate is easily accessible from the site and has lots of great walks. You can walk into Cirencester in about 15-20 minutes and enjoy the pretty town with abbey and lovely independent shops and restaurants.
We also loved the dedicated dog field on site where you can safely let your dogs off the lead for exercise.
We were worried that our 8 year old might be bored however there were quite a few children enjoying the play park and she quickly made some good friends.
All in all a lovely site, the only downside is the entrance lane which we as experienced caravanners found nerve wracking. Luckily for us we didn’t meet anyone going in the opposite direction.

Hardstanding pitches need resurfacing
It's a nice site, but be aware that over a third of the pitches are on grass. You might not get the option of a hard pitch if you want one as the site is usually busy. Also, the 'standard' hardstanding pitches are anything but club standard. They are all narrow and in need of levelling and resurfacing. The only space for a car is in front of your van. If you want a decent pitch the 'serviced' pitches have been refurbished and are wide enough to take a car, caravan and awning, and they've been levelled and the gravel is clean. Time the standard pitches were brought up to scratch.

Lovely stay
A lovely site in a great location with easy access to town. But why is the band system on this site different to all the others we have stayed on, and we have stayed on a few! Where are the hooks? It's easy to see how many people are in with hooks. People here are confused, asking where are the bands? And many are abusing it. One lady thought it was ok to go in although there were no bands, as she was only going to the toilet. The system needs to be standard throughout the network as pitching correctly is.
Access road an accident waiting to happen
Like many other reviews the shared approach road has compromised safety. Narrow turning at top of road , no visibility, large bolders either side hidden with long grass and small pull in places. Met a very rude lady coming into site who at first refused to reverse just a few feet because she had already done so for another caravan. We could not because we had just come a around narrow bend. This is very unfortunate developement . Our caravan is small , larger units must find it very difficult. Cirencester has been a favourite site but we will have to think twice about going back.
Site was clean some toilet users not wearing masks.
