Used the site this year as a stopover and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the wardens by name and made to feel welcome, although a one-night visit.The site was very full ( Spring Bank Holiday ) but everything was clean and tidy, grass cut, facilities fully stocked and very clean. It's unfortunate that the dog walk is so small,( but kept very clean) as the alternative is to use the road adjacent to the site which initially, has no pavement, so is somewhat dangerous. With Cheshire Oaks so nearby, together with Chester city, Liverpool and Manchester it makes an ideal site explore the surrounding area.
