A welcome break
What a friendly site. From the moment we arrived until the day we left we were delighted with this site and its facilities. Despite its proximity to the M53 motorway the site was remarkably quiet in our caravan with the benefit of double glazing. Sitting out was slighly noiser and may be an issue for tent campers especially if you are light sleepers. The dog walk area is an essential necessity as the site access road (Rake Lane) is un-paved and quite busy meaning that dog walking along this needs Hi-Vis clothing to alert road users. We signed up to the site Wi-Fi but found this quite slow possibly due to the site being full and the Euro Soccer tournament and Wimbledon being staged.
Would we visit again? Without hesitation! This is a great location especially for its proximity to a wide range of activities for all the family. This was our first visit to the area and we hardly scratched the surface of things that we would like to do.
We did have some rain whilst on site and the flat location did give some hardstanding pitches issues with flooding and the grass pitches suffered as well. This needs to be addressed by the Club for the future. Well done to the team who manage and run the site for making our stay such a welcome break.
