Another lovely stay at this site. Facilities are very clean and warm albeit the showers are on the small side! Whilst we stayed there the relief wardens Jean and Terry Johnson were on duty, fantastic couple!! My husband was unfortunate to injure his hand after 10 minutes of us arriving, Terry was over like a shot making sure my husband was ok letting us know where their medical centre was and hospitals. After visits to hospital and back to site Terry made sure to come and visit us asking if we needed anything. Every day whilst we were there Terry made sure he chatted with us making sure all was well. Thank you so much Terry. The site is easy walking to the shops in Cheddar and Cheddar Gorge. There is a good Sainsbury’s and a small Tesco in the town. Great cycling in the area especially if you use the Strawberry Line (Old railway) you can even cycle to Thatchers Cider shop! The Old Railway restaurant and bar is a must to visit too being just up the road from Thatchers. Can’t wait to return again in August and we promise no accidents!
